Join us for a weekend just for the guys! This is a great opportunity for Christian fellowship at Camp Barakel's Men's Retreat. You might come for the activities, or you might just enjoy relaxing. We have 350 acres to explore, including all the frontage on spring-fed Shear Lake. Four Chapel sessions are planned where the Gospel of Jesus Christ will be proclaimed, and you will be challenged to know and love the Savior. Men's Retreat is happening on:

• Oct 16 - 18
• Oct 23 - 25
• Oct 30 - Nov 1

We are currently looking for a custodian to help keep our church clean and welcoming for guests and church family! This is a part-time role, more information will be provided soon. If you're interested in this opportunity and you enjoy keeping spaces organized and clean, please reach out to the office. Contact the office if you have any questions.

Camp Barakel, one of our Outreach partners, is in need of some help during upcoming fall events. Check out their needs below:

• Oct 30 – Nov 1: Looking for 7 kitchen volunteers and 3 dish room volunteers

Wednesday, October 21
All Senior Fun Day: Let’s have some fun! You’re invited to peer into the past with Bev Coates and Tom Peck. Yes, you will be amazed and end up saying, “I can’t believe it!” or “Really?” Everyone 55 and above is invited and lunch will be provided. Please register by Monday, October 19.

Wednesday, October 28
Members, please plan to join us for our Third Quarter Member Meeting on Wednesday, October 28. A meal will be served at 6:00pm and the meeting will begin at 7:00pm. Reports will be sent to members two weeks prior to the meeting. Childcare will be provided for children up to 3 years old. Parents, all children over the age of 3 should remain with you during the duration of the meeting.

Elder John Glupker is recommended by the elders for Elder Reaffirmation at the October 28 member meeting.

While Pastor David is stepping down from his position on IBC staff, we will vote on him continuing as a lay elder (effective November 1, 2026 if the vote passes).

Saturday, November 7
Ladies, please join us for El Roi Encouragers! We're getting together to hear from missionary Robyn Lenz on how to better encourage and pray for missionaries. We'll put that into practice by crafting care packages for our shut-in's and signing Christmas cards for missionaries.

Monday, November 2
Women at the Well meets next on Monday, November 2. This ministry is open to all ladies of IBC, as well as any guests you'd like to bring along. Light refreshments will be served. Please register for each monthly meeting- thank you!
